NYC courier documentary

After high school graduation in mid 90's I was not sure what do to with my life. Saw an awesome documentary about NYC bike couriers on tv. It was about "Mother's" dispatch and "The Greek" was one of the couriers the documentary followed. That film was the reason I then started as a bike courier. I know that a follow up documentary was filmed and also shown a couple of years ago here on Swedish national television.

I would now like to get ahold of a copy of those documentarys. Preferably on dvd or by downloading on the web. The thing is I don't have any good search words for Google. Does anyone here know who directed or what titles I should search for? Maybe you know where I can get a copy?

The documentary on SVT was "Pedal!", by Peter Sutherland. I saw it too, and I remember thinking they were crazy going fixed, and now I do the same.

Thatīs all I know. Someone must have it taped!

Saw now that "Pedal" is from 2001 and is a follow up from the original one from 95/96 I think.

I'm pretty sure it's called "need for speed", you could get it from Amazon for a while, but only vhs.

Yup it's need for speed, I have it on vhs, got if from amazon, it's expensive, but the Greek's Oakley Blades more than make up for it. If you can't find it on amazon anymore hit me up I'll make a copy on vhs for you.

Thanks for mentioning this film. I had never heard of it. But now you have sparked an interest in me.
I located the website that produced it. The phone number is listed. Maybe they have info on dvd or at least vhs. Hopefully, this information will be helpful to you.

(Click the link for contact details there is a phone number there.)

I sent an email per the address on the site. Never got an answer. I guess if the box were flooded it might trigger a response.

Thanks for letting us know! You're right, you would have gotten a response if it didn't reach the reciever.
