Hey thanks for the memories. It was almost 9yrs when I stopped riding a track bike. I had new priorities and needed to fulfill old ones. I have done most of them.

During this time, I seen this forum which started my interest in riding not just watching races (Keirin Only).

You guys got me to start going into this big time and made up for lost time. I again have new priorities and need to go back and finish old ones. I will still sponsor MSNGR and the others on the track till the end of this season. I will look in on the forums from time to time and may post a topic or just reply.

I help to dispel some things and pass on knowledge of others. I hope I helped some and pissed off others..LOL

I kept my promise to help at the 13th CMWC NYC 2005 and did more than expected.

I will post all bikes since I have a camera now. I will sell some and keep some but no new ones..PERIOD..opps except a old mountain bike with a rigid fork.

As of now I needed to step back and see where I stand at this moment in time.
I will build frames after school .

165,

I will make it out there as promised.

If you need any information on Keirin and the like feel free to email me as I will go to South Korea to see Keirin out there.

With all this trash being said. THANKS for your support to these and all forums.

I will still ride and see you guys out there as Bob Hope and Bing Crosby .THANK FOR THE MEMORIES!!!

Semper Fidelis,
CEYA!

Look, I told you! My girlfriend wanted to take me to museums. MUSEUMS!

Wow...culture!!!

I'm not from some farm town, I got plenty o' culture here in Chicago.

All I wanted to do was drink a 40oz on some porch in NYC and pretend I was in Murphy's Law circa '86.

I'd totally have a crucial bbq!

Yo Ceya,

Going to frame building school? Ganbate being the first foreign Keirin builder in Japan. Just read your pm. As much as I loved the Level frame, I sold it. I came home with a Watanabe along with the Iribei though. Awesome, awesome. Thanks again for cruising with me in Tokyo, buddy. Good times with Seiya, Nemoto-san, and Tomity. Still in the build up process right now. I realized that the NJS bb's have a 109 mm spindle so that kind of limited my crank choices. I wanted to build them up right so I now have 2 Sujino cranks on back order now. Got everything else... Dura ace cogs, Nitto bars and stems, Hatta... I'll post pics as soon as they get built. Going to Wisconsin for school in a couple weeks will seriously thow a wrench in things. Have to wait till I come back to Hawaii to visit. How do you ride your Kerin frames in the salt during NY winters without crying? Anyway, did you get a chance to hang out with my buddy Dre when he came up there? I think he's coming home soon and we'll probably plan a fixed gear ride or ss mtn ride next week. I have yet to transfer our Tachikawa velodrome pics onto my computer. Didn't even unpack all the way yet since I'm leaving anyway. Let me know if you're ok with having them posted on a public forum though.

You'll be missed... a voice of reason seems to be a rare thing on this forum as of late.

Just one question though, do or did you know a guy named James? He rode in NYC from 79 until the late 80's or early 90's when he moved to berlin. He's tall, black, and fast as lightning. Just curious... oh yah he used to race at kissena back before it closed. eh just curious you know.

Good luck with your plans, I enjoyed your postings here too. Sorry we didn' get a chance to meet up in NYC, I'd intended to sprint but even in Jersey City it was too busy for me to run off and leave the shop with just the boss, she likes when I'm there to chat with folk. There will be a big race in TO in the next few years if all goes as planned, if you're in north america when it goes down swing up here and I'm buying.

Yes me and James go back to 84-85 time frame. I haven't seen him since 95-96 when he left to go to Germany. We are good friends. We were part of the messengers that was part of the Coors Light Honorary member squad for the inaugral Tour De Trump in 1990 and was there in 1991 when we broke the record riding to DC in 16 hrs and we he went to Germany for the World Championship.

He was the first to have an Ortelib bag here in 1989 and I got mine in 1991 from him . Yeah I raced at Kissena before he did I started in 1985 he started about 1992 boy it fun back then.
