Any Carbon Frame Single Speed?
Have a Salsa Stormchaser I absolutely adore as a winter beater and enjoy how the carbon fork soaks up the bumps on the road. Also got a Whisky Parts carbon seatpost for same. I am very tall, it's an XL and when you're up in the stratosphere the carbon really flexes and helps there. Anyway my summer Porsche is a Warbird and I think the world of how the carbon dampens everything as well as makes pedal strokes more efficient. Anyone know of a single speed carbon bike?

I'm pretty sure if you Google search carbon track bike you will get a lot of different results. I know Aventon used to make one before they started to only make Ebikes.
Here is the other one I was thinking of.
"Stradalli SL-16 Full Carbon Green Track Bike Fixie Complete Bicycle. Ultimate Power Wheelset." https://stradalli.com/stradalli-sl-16-full-carbon-track-bike-fixie-complete-bicycle-ultimate-power-wheelset.html

looks interesting ....if he's open to that type of geo. And susceptable to the brands subtle marketing
speaking of which do they list this bikes geometry anywhere? - a 'search for this bike on geometry geeks' also

came up empty...

I wonder if suggesting dozens of hardcore crabon track bikes is helpful to a person looking for
Yeah, I guess that a track bike is essentially only a freewheel and some brakes from being a singlespeed but my money says the OP does not want anything like that. He wants the equivalent of a crabon roadbike with trackends and I can't think of anything off-the-shelf like that. And if anyone wants to look it's a subject that's been worked over here before with not dissimilar conclusions.
Good luck - let us know if you find anything...

The Trek Checkpoint "strangle hold" should work. I have an ALR5 converted to ss. The carbon ones should work too. May be a wait to get a new frame.

You are absolutely right Sir. I was being a smart ass...
.... but when I looked up the old posts on this subject all I found were derisive and dismissive comments about why anyone would want to own such a beast.
No specific recommendations just a lot of smugness.
I also think that that you are right and that track bikes are not what the Op is looking for based on what he's riding and appreciating now but in all fairness he didn't clarify - single speed is a pretty broad cattagory - I was kind of hoping he'd respond and narrow it down.
Maybe the White Industries eccentric hub would be a product that could open up a lot of choices?

Am pretty happy with the bikes I have now and now with the mountain bike am working on the D-1 number of bikes meaning D is the number of bikes you buy that the wife divorces you. Not looking for track bikes I knew about those already and pretty happy with the Stormchaser as my winter beater and rain bike; no derailleur or moving parts to worry about regarding road sand and salt.
Just curious. I know Trek makes a flat bar carbon road bike (FX4-6's) and carbon feels so lovely with a certain subset of people still riding single speed in 2022 curious if any company offers a factory built option. Most (obviously not all) single speed bikes that people actually enjoy are either custom builds from scratch or aftermarket conversions of geared frames as almost all available single speeds for brand new purchase are cheap junk nobody would want to seriously ride.
When people notice that I ride a single speed you should hear the awful things they have to say; reference last sentence in how most single speeds available for purchase are heavy, low quality department store clunkers.

Bikes: Kona Unit, Kona Kahuna, Kona Dew DL, Scott Big Jon, Trek Checkpoint ALR4, KHS Urban Soul, Haro Team Issue, GT Force Expert Carbon, Bernardi Quadra.
The Trek Checkpoint may be the bike you're looking for, it has sliding dropouts so it can be easily converted to a single speed. Trek sells the carbon frame and fork as far as I know.
