Just completed my first Singlespeed conversion
Dude I'm loving it. I went with 14t on the rear and 42t on the front chainring and it's amazing. It feels so much lighter, looks so much slicker and the control over the bike I've gained is pleasantly suprising!

You're not getting a lot of wrap angle on the cog. Perhaps removing a chain link would help.
