I think my little red bike is the equivalent of an 80s subaru gl hatchback, 4wd, natch.
It's ugly and not especially fast, but it'll get you just about anywhere.

I was actually having a hard time with the cruiser. The problem is that in the car world, big and cushy is usually matched to a large displacement engine, so that it's big and cushy and relatively fast (if not exactly sprightly).
My cousin had a '64 Caddy and that bad boy would easily hit 120 on the flat, though at that speed it tended to pitch and roll like a small ship on choppy waters. I think the huge surface area started having serious aerodynamic interactions.
