i'm amtraking to both cities some time in august (probably late, but no definite plans.) gonna be spending about 3/4 days in both cities and i was curious if there was any good rides/good shows/pie eating contests/etc. happening that i should plan my trip around. let me know, por favor.

On the 14th there is a Chicago century. That should be cool and there is always some good shows to see here.I dont know of any pie eating contests but we could always make it happen.

maybe for like 10 minutes if there's an amtrak station. we could hit up the vending machines and cuss at people for a bit.
