Punk rock Monday at Delihah's on Lincoln. Dollar beers.

I want to go. Get drunk, sleep in & drop out of police academy....

It's not fun like the movies.

Jeremy - go to the Empty Bottle for free Music Mondays - really great live music venue (my favourite), cute girls, cheap beers and it'll be a good crowd as there are some really good local bands playing tonight:

https://emptybottle.com/home.php

Starts at 9:30pm, on Western Ave, it's a 5 minute ride from the Handlebar (sort of close to where my band practices). Or in a different way, about a mile south from the place where we ate tacos on Saturday.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Well, it should be easier to drop out towards the beginning of police academy rather than towards the end, right? That way you won't feel like you wasted a bunch of time...

I say pick up a Reader and look for a good band to see, or I always liked going to Delilah's on North Lincoln.

Hmmm. That looks like something I could find pretty easy. I was just out riding on Division, and it looks like it's just a few blocks south....

I hear ya, I'm troubled about the whole situtation.

I think there's a Screeching Weasel song that fits my feelings right now, I need to find it.

You might see me drinking a bunch of dollar beers tonight.

I wouldn't know who most of the bands are, I don't think... Are there any good psychobilly bands out here?

Not really - a friend of mine used to play in The Siderunners and they were great. They are no more. However, I think the bands tonight at the Empty Bottle might be a little up your alley. It's basically west on Division until you hit Western and then south on Western (literally two blocks) to Cortez. On the corner, with the old style sign outside and the restaurant Bite next to it (also quite good and decent to hang out pre-show). There's a pool table inside of the Bottle if you get there early and the bartender's are cool to chat with.

Hmm, might end up ditching out early if that's the case - not too big on crowds, you know? Maybe head to Delilahs after that...

Delilah's will be packed as well. Or relatively enough. But move around, soak some of that stuff in. It'll be a good time.

Arturo's is wonderful. I'm also really huge on Taco Veloz @ Chicago/Wood.

Jeremy-nice riding/hanging tonight. Skids all around, and we'll have to make it up to MPLS soon.

For sure. Now if I could just figure out how to embed the video of my no handed trackstand...

That was pretty impressive, Jeremy. I had a great night. My first no-handed skid!

So Naz, when do we see the video you took of HereNT taking a leak and Soupless stripping to his skivvies? =)

Let's not see that video, K? I've got your no-hander here but I think Naz got a better shot...

next time i go out with naz i want to do that in my underpants and get a still of it for the FGE.

I'm going to get some better [read: longer wearing than my Fortezzas] tires and work on my no-handeds while i'm in Ohio this weekend. Spend time with my family? BAH! Caroline (Caro-lean(my bike)) is much more entertaining.
