Why don't you obey the traffic laws when driving your truck? Evading police in a motor vehicle is one of the most irresponsible things you can do. Paul Jensen, longtime DC messenger was killed by a motor vehicle fleeing from police. Grow up!

I guess my thoughts is if you suck at doing something ... you shouldn't do it.

Every driver who races from police is an idiot. If you're speeding, you suck at driving. If the police blows the siren, pull over. It's not worth it.

Someone like you killed Paul. High speed pursuit is safe because you are a "good driver"? A responsible driver would not run from the police. Get a racing video game.

Bull***** actions from selfish jackasses, irresponsible jackasses like you, put me, my family, and everyone else on the streets at risk everyday, especially those choosing to commute or ride their bikes on those streets. there's limited ways to outrun a cop, of which simply speeding away is the most common. so don't be surprised if that's what people thought you meant, or for getting on your case about it. if you don't speed then fine, but there's enough idiots that do.

Last time i got a ticket, i was doing 120 in a 50 on my bike. The cop that pulled out was in a jeep wrangler. Absolutely no way he was going to come close to catching me.

I pulled over anyway (mainly because i never liked being stigmatized as a fugitive). The cop gve me a leniency charge of 'failure to follow a police officers instruction', which was a $10 non-point charge. His reason? "Most bikes dont pull over, that fact that you did says something about your character".

and btw, if I did run, i WOULD have been caught because the mcycle cop he radioed ahead for pulled up about 5 minutes later.
