ok including the upgrades of a carbon fork, chris king headset and brooks sadle here are some suggested up grade steps:
1.strip the clearcoat and decals off then turttle wax the **** out of it
2.get a carbon seat post
3.upgrade to a set of black formula hubs laced to black deep v's (unmachined if you don't ride brakes) replace formula bearings with some upgrades from action bearing
4.trim the brooks down
and you'll have a pretty sick looking/riding bike

well here's my plan:
1. replace the cockpit with one of those straight-blade forks from bicycle works, a campy headset and drop quill stem
2. replace the crankset with one of the nice campy ones with just the engraved logo
3. butcher the b17 so it looks all sporty and sexy
4. remove the clearcoat, decals etc, repaint metallic silver with stays left unpainted.
0. ride the hell out of it
ps i'll be in prospect tonight from 7:30, helping my running buddy train. chrome pista with yellow electrical tape on the tubes and no bar tape. say hi if you're around
