Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

96 Baramon Keirin / Little 500 mashup

96 Baramon keirin frame. Classic khaki paint job, grey primer, full chrome plating. I bought this through bike forums in 2007 and it's been through a few incarnations in the last nearly 20 years. Right now I've got a Velosteel coaster brake and will add a DiaCompe strap on front brake soon to make it street legal here in Berlin.

I'm still looking for info on the builder, I know his name is Masao Komada and that he was or is located in Kurume. If anyone has a story about Mr. Komada I would love to hear it, or if you have any info about Baramon, I would love to chat.

Let me know what you think!
