i'm at 34th and telegraph and have already been up to berkeley and back once today b ut might be down to meet up somewhere along my way, especially if it includes stops at bars.

I could cruise up to campus and then down tele, lots of good food and drink there! Tofu house has some great Korean (lots of meat too)...Van Kleef down by 18th is my favorite bar...

Last time I was there (quite a while ago), there was this older (70s) irish guy hitting on the ladys we were with, but I thought he f'n great, all laughs and smiles...really hard to understand though as irish slurring can be. He was collecting hugs telling everyone he loved em. Good stuff!
7pm is good. I love the dives too... I don't really have a lockable bike yet (too nice), unless I can see it. This might limit where I can hang, but hasn't stopped me from finding places yet. Kind of like a fun game..lets see who will put up with my bike.

Well, that was a great ride! Thanks TIP for the warm welcome to this community. We met at Mama Buzz and rode around Lake Merritt, then hit up Golden Lotus for grub and finished off at the pub in Jack London, Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon. My new favorite bar! It was a mellow ride except for my full on sprints to and from my house, Hollis and Mandella Parkway rip!

I might go again tonight...
