Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Well I used to buy cars in the 70s for $25~50 a pop. When they died I just went and got another. Well try to find a running car for under $1000. Same thing with bikes. The price just keeps going up. It not the sellers fault. It the person who will lay out the cash for it. I was never into the vintage bike thing. But I wouldn't pay as much as some people are asking for stuff they find. I have a bunch of old Ross and Sears bikes I pickup so my sisters kids had something to ride when they came to visit. I must be sitting on a small fortune.

I should sell a dumpster on Craigslist. It would be like the grab bags you get at the flea market.
