2006 Pista...
#1
I called my LBS today and asked them about the "Sage Greenish" Pista I mentioned in a different post. They said it is the 2006 pista, that Bianchi changed the cranks and the seat(really ugly, black with leopard faux fur on the sides...ew) but otherwise it is the same bike except green...I hope this helps some of you guys that were asking about it.

Sage green does not sound like an accurate description of celeste to me.
I'd say baby blue or turquoise.
Sage green to me is a pale/pastele-y forest green.
I hope I'm wrong.

I wonder if the green mentioned is the same color as the 2005 Volpe... it's a sage-green ... Bianchi calls it "Vintage Celeste"

celest=yum
sage green=vomit
leopard=projectile vomit
I hope bianchi's not trying to start a leopard trend... next up, entire leopard print bike...hmmm, that might be kinda sweet... maybe not

Yup, saw them this weekend at American Cyclery in SF. They are indeed sage green with a black seat that has... faux leopard trim on the back. Similiar position in regards to where the metal trip is on a san marco rolls.

You're right, the pista is completely worthless without any redeemable qualities whatsoever.

If you are looking for a Celeste Bianchi - I have an 53cm 1980's Bianchi Celeste Track frame for sale. Going to put it on ebay later this week - it's in such good condition it looks like it was plucked out of the 80's. PM me if intrested.

Yeah, if it is the first case then I apologize but I don't believe it is.
I wouldn't call it hyper-sensitivity to pista hating, it's a hyper-sensitivity to hating in general.
