Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I don't even know Tony, apart from a few emails exchanged regarding parts and a frame, and the purchase of a frame I'm exceedingly happy with.

Nonetheless, my heart goes out to you, Tony. The loss of a son, wow, that's something I can't even imagine (being a childless, 30-something, single guy doesnt' give much perspective on parenthood. I'm barely a few years older than he was.), but I know what the loss of loved ones is like and it's no picnic, so my thoughts are with you...

Dunno if that really means anything coming from a virtual stranger, who bought a bike frame via internet a little over a year ago, but there it is FWIW.

Tony, you're far more than just a guy-who-sells-bikes to this community. I hope you know you can look to us for a hand with anything possible. You've been so good to us.

I'm terribly sorry about your loss.
