google maps pedometer
maybe you web junkies are fully aware of this gadget, but if not i thought i would share.
for anyone who, like me, dosen't like an odometer cluttering up the handlebars,
there's a nifty application for Google Maps that allows the user to draw your route and voila.. instant mileage.
i mapped out our ride from last monday.. anything after the stop at the bar is a fuzzy aproximation but it's pretty close.

That's even sweeter than the original. No more text files recording rides! I love all the gMap hacks being developed out there.

I just activated all of the pending accounts. Velo Novus works, mostly. I will be spending some much needed time on getting the site working *better* over this winter break. Grad school is a biotch, taking all my time and whatnot.
