Monday night ride in Chicago

Hey 48x16, etc. I had fun on last week's ride, and I was wondering if there was another one planned for this week. I might be able to convince my girlfriend to come out and ride, which would remove the need (other than work tuesday) for going home really early.

So yeah.... Same bat time, same bat station?

How about Wednesday night? Weather.com is calling for showers during the day but only partly cloudy in the evening.

So, Wednesday 8:30pm, North/Damen/Milwaukee right outside the double door.

Hey, how far do you all ride? Where do you go? Are you all FG/SS specific?
Can anyone join in?

Tuesday would be better? Ok then.

Tuesday, 8:30pm. North/Damen/Milwaukee. On the corner where the double door is.

Patrick - treechunk rode a mountain bike last time we rode. we don't care what you're on. We never know how far we're gonna go.

treechunk - you're planning the route this time!

I'm ok with South as long as someone knows which roads are cool to ride on. I've heard bike lanes are pretty much non-existant down there and some of the roads are pretty rough.

yeah you northerners know nothing about us hicks down here on the southside. fyi, we have tumbleweeds too.

actually, maybe i'm biased because i live here, but i find once i'm south of the loop everything opens up and is much more pleasurable. and yes there are bike lanes.

I was thinkin' damen/ogden/california/archer-archer/michigan/roosevelt/halsted/north.

Things are RELATIVELY smooth on those streets, but the south side really isn't as smooth as the north side. Bike lanes are nice, but one should not necessarily keep oneself bound to streets with such. I think it'll be a fun ride though.

Actually, that would probably depend on whether we went south on Archer or not. The south side doesn't start THAT far from where I live.

I saw that Rob Lowe videotape! It almost ended his career until his 'reinvention' as Sam Seaborn on West Wing!

Wait to much info...

A ride tomorrow? Maybe I'll make it up north, it would be cool to meet some new BF people.
This means I gotta drive though... I try not to do that as much...
