Scott McIntosh, bartender at Cal's on Friday nights and House of Blues on others, finished a triumphant ride at the Furnace 508. As a rookie he finished 19th with a time of 33:58:21. Congratulations Scott.

Scott rode his new Moots road bike (geared). He has talked about doing the RAAM before. I would imagine it is now something he's seriously considering.

That's awesome. He should consider the Trans-America Classic next July. The maximum time allowed is 21 days (or 155 miles a day).

Wow, he rode the 508 and he can bend tar as well? That's something!
Seriously, props for completing that monster of a course.
BTW, there was talk of a fixie category witht three participants. Did anyone finish on a fix?
