ah don't sweat it, it's just me. "fixie" makes my skin crawl. as does "tastemaker" and the word "sophomore" used where second would have sufficed. also "fast forward to…" — ugh! "flash forward to…" makes me want to murder.

Burke, we should call it "The FG Survey" in honor of Paul. That'd be funny. I was thinking of spraypainting that on my bike.

I think a better label would be "fixed gear". Now that you mention it, I find that I don't really say "fixie" ever either... The FG is still my favorite though.

Basel huh. I was there two years ago. A beautiful city. The day I was there it seemed that the ration of men to women was outstanding. everywhere I looked there were women. I absolutely love switzerland. I think it is my favorite place in the world. Thank you for you input.
