SF/ Design Nerds...
...I need some help. I need a bigger copy of this logo from Freewheel Bicycle Shop in SF. I have been searching google with no luck. It was mentioned in a different thread that it was designed by Chris Wright. Does anyone have info on that designer. Maybe a website? Google came up with a website for the shop but it doesn't work. I guess my next step will be to call San Francisco and ask the shop. That just seems like a wierd reason to call and bug a shop. If you can help I will be your best friend.

really though, the best source for the logo is to call the shop...
i'm trying to find a sticker from the shop, that i can scan and post/email. will do if i find it. you probably won't find the image online anywhere, it's a pretty new logo.

The image I posted appears to be on a shirt. I would like to have higher quality than that if possible.

I'm just using it as some inspiration for a tattoo design. A starting example of what I want designed. I just really love the logo.

I would say this logo is a GIANT rip-off, forshizzle.

With a title like this I had to look at this thread...
I'm both a design nerd and bike nerd and live in San Francisco
and am in walking distance to Freewheel on Hayes.
Yeah, the shirts are awesome. I have a few stickers,
one of which I faux "die-cut" and put on my frame. So sweet!
The vinyl sticker scans nicely, maybe try and get one of those.
But call the guys at Freewheel on Hayes, I'm sure they can
help you out, just be honest with your intentions. They're the
best shop I've ever been to.

Giant does great work! I have a tattoo by him. Chris did the graphic for Freewheel (the best shopr ever) and here is a link to good version of the freewheel skull.
