They only make cogs for their splined cog carrier system. They don't make ye olde thread-on type.

ok, i have a primato hub. looks to me like a regular thread set-up so it would seem i need a cog from a different manufacturer. anyone recommend anything? are there threading issues with differing brands i should be aware of?

any cog is fine. DA, EAI, new Surly, SOMA, Phil etcetcetc

For the Miche splined cogs you need the Miche splined carrier. It works great and makes changing cogs a snap.

also make sure you have the correct width. i had a soma 3/32 cog on my primato and it kept dangerously slipping whenever i tried to skid.

You need to tighten your cog, get a small bb/freewheel spacer, and tighten your lockring. A 1/8" cog won't make any difference here.

hmm, i'm not so good with the bike mechanics, but this was how my chain slippage problem was explained to me by the nice folks at trackstar, and once they put the different sized cog on there i no longer had any problems.
