I look there quite often, but I'm talking like crazy antique paint, like 1920s track bikes and what not, multi colored. The bikes are nice there, but not many are what I'm looking for as far as paint. I've seen some bikes in passing that I've liked but can re-locate now that it matters.

Bikes: 80's Hoffy track frame 49x15, 80's guerciotti track 47x15(destroyd by a car), '78 ross conversion(RIP, died of old age), '06 fuji track(RIP, hit by a trolley), '75 Alan Aluminum(in the works)

i painted my bike, straight matte black frame and fork with red wheels. It's not that hard to do, i use krylon can spray paint, but my buddy told me about a company cold montana that makes high quality spray paint for tagging and stuff. It takes time, but the quality is good if you know what to do.

I'm going for polished metal lugs, and a solid lighter color with possibly a white head tube and maybe some white areas on the seat and down tube. Something like that. I will be painting it in a friend's car shop with a compressor and actual car paint. I have painted several bikes before both with a compressor and car paint and with canned spray paint. I even did a camo bmx bike. Just looking for pictures of bikes painted like I described. I'm starting to get a better idea of what I want but am still having trouble finding pictures.
