Cinelli shim?

I have a Cinelli stem with 26.4mm clamp and Nitto bullhorns with a 26mm clamp. I tried the Coke can thing but still get a little slippage. Will a Nitto Shim (or something similar) work? I understand it is designed for a 26mm clamp and 25.4 bars.

thanks everyone

this sounds weird but when the Coke can shim was invented, Coke cans were thicker. They actually taper now from thickest at the bottom to thinner at the top of the sidewall. My last shim was a Red Bull can, and I had to use extra and wrap it around a little more than once.

I will try and wrap it a couple times to see if that works. I used a couple pieces from the top of the can.

thanks!

Butted cans? Sounds dirty.
