any hope for a frame with a cracked bb shell? and how much is that gonna cost me? trying to decide if it's worth it to take a cracked frameset off a friend...

1) Pick up trash frame for 25 - 50 bucks
2) Save up for new frame
3) Save cracked frame for practicing frame repair

If you don't want to do it right, take it to the local metalworker (LMW) and have them just weld that bastard. It ain't pretty and technically it will anneal the metal, but what have you got to lose?
