I am generally curious about the average age on in this sub-forum...just judging by musical taste/pop culture references, etc.. Wouldn't be surprised if most are 30-50 (I'm 36 btw)

Nearly anything from Miles Davis to Earth to Ravi Shankar to Tannahill Weavers to the Pixies to Jimmy Vaughn to Magrudergrind to Greensky Bluegrass to Sage Francis. Most of the music I don't like is electronic or crappy pop and smooth "jazz" (Kenny G type stuff) as well as the typical country found on the radio. On my computer I have over 120 days worth of music (according to the iTunes but I have a lot of stuff not yet added to iTunes) and I have a ton of vinyl, cds, and cassettes (some of which are duplicated on the computron) If someone couldn't find at least one song they like in my collection I would be surprised. I love music and would happily double or triple my collection if I could.

I am in my late twenties early thirties.

It's Hüsker Dü, but yeah, awesome freakin' band. I love Bob Mould. I could swear I saw him recently while grabbing lunch, I know it probably wasn't him but it damn sure looked like him with red glasses. We nodded at each other almost like we knew each other or I knew he was awesome and he knew I knew who he was.

Circle of Friends in D.C. is freakin' awesome if you haven't seen it. You have him and Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty along with what has now become his band playing so many awesome songs!
