Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Get your crappy New York Cranksgiving off or our sweet LA Cranksgiving post!

Heh heh. I was actually thinking about the NYC race whilest we were riding through the streets wearing t-shirts and shorts, thinking, wow, LA rocks.

disclaimer:the first sentence was a joke, which by posting this disclaimer I am making considerably less funny.

no.

Oh and one of my all time favorite moments was your reaction when John and I asked you if you wanted to go home after having a rock embedded in your head.

I didn't. A mod must have. They were very biking related......helmets can be benificial especially when skidding and coming over the bars and landing on your head. It also showed the helpfulness of your multi-tool kit.

These mods are weird.

Cranksgiving was an alleycat in LA involving mostly fixed and ss bikes.

Take biking pictures down???
Move to the Foo forum???

I don't get it. It's all biking related and send it to a forum where it doesn't belong.

Weird!

pics not taken down - the server updating has removed a lot images from threads throughout the forums. Look at some of the other threads in the FG/SS forum. Some thing.

165 is correct. With the server move (or attempt at it), some attachments were lost. That's part of the reason why the move was aborted, and Joe is trying to work out a way to keep as many attachments as possible when he tries the move again. In the meantime, one of the mods who didn't see the thread originate saw this thread without the pics and thought it was a foo topic, so it got moved. Since I've seen this thread from the first time it was posted, I knew it was a ss/fixie thread, so I moved it back.

Things are most likely going to be a little crazy in the coming weeks until Joe gets the server moved. It's just small inconveniences, if everyone can hang in there, because the new forum will have better software and run a heck of a lot faster.

I still hold that the mods are nazis...but not the bad kind..the more lovable version that bounces around when they drink that crazy juice. Wait..those are gummi bears...nevermind.

Sorry, doods. When I moved it there were a number of definate foo threads posted here. I don't believe trepanation has anything to do with cycling, or wait. maybe it does.

Sorry I am so lazy as but to explain myself to you.
