I posted this in the appropriate place yesterday, books, movies and entertainment, but it's only been looked at 7 times in the last 24 hours, so I'm reposting it here. I think you guys would like it...

pandora rules, except it tends to play newer releases of bands, ie anthrax, which is awful.

i have used last.fm before.. it does the same sorta thing.. you need a media player with support or a plugin.. here is what my media player says about it
amaroK can send the name of every song you play to last.fm. The system automatically matches you to people with similar musical tastes, and creates personalized recommendations
