got deer shook!
tightened crank bolts [and installed missing washer..key element], lubed chain, pulled wheel back a little more, tightened chainring bolts
bike is sturdy as a muh right now, and the creaking that I was experiencing before...GONE
I love riding a wheel that is absolutely SILENT!
rolled up on some deer the other night blazin' down the road...deer were shook as a muh. I crept up on them on some stealth ****. I'm not gonna front, I was shook as a muh too...especially when they started fukin' darting everywhere. was kinda fun after the fact tho, dodging large beasts. As it is cars catch them sleepin' at times...this was on some next **** tho, cause I had no lights, no sound, no warnings... just the quiet whisper of me splitting air.
I'm having too much fun riding fix

a muh is short for...mutherfuker
and believe me...although the deer might be shook as a muh with you riding by on a noisy schwinn, they will def be shocked way more if you're riding fixed... that element of surprise

I surprised one and one surprised me a month or so ago. I was riding along in the zone...well, actually in semi-rural virginia....we were both 100% quiet and neither one of us saw eachother until I was literally right next to him (her?). S/he jumped straight out of the bushes, I thought I was getting hit by a truck or something. Scared the bejesus out of me.

It is fun to see the look on the deers faces when you are creeping up to them.

My timing has so far been so good. Downhill, a rustle to the right, deer butts taking off into the woods.
It's the guys in orange with guns that I'm really afraid of. They seem awfully close to the road.

I did not call the cops for tressassing while the guys in orange where in the power company property.
I swear it was not me calling from the corner because I am afraid of bullets flying.

We rode with a herd of them for a little ways on Saturday night. Suprisingly, they didn't hear 8 rowdy drunks on bikes closing in on them...

Just got finished chasing 5 deer in about 4-5in. of fresh powder .... Although I didn't feel good about chasing them, I managed to keep up pretty well till they hit some wooded hills....it was as if I was 'running' with them...up close and personal...beautifully graceful animals
