Bikes: 2004 Bianchi Pista, Cannondale Track, Soma Pake, Schwinn Breeze

Just wanted to show off my latest.
I know there is a SS/FG Photo sticky, but I don't care.

Anyway, this is my 2004 Pista, fresh from the powder coater.
Custom decals made by Designs By Suzie.

The only thing worth mentioning right now is the wheels.
Front wheel: Bontrager 20h hub laced to Velocity Spartacus rim.
Rear Wheel: Nashbar flip/flop hub laced to Deep V (not pictured).
Lugged, Soma cromo fork.

The rest is stock '04 Pista except seat, pedals and handlebars - it has risers now, but also rocks Nitto B123 drops and bullhorns.

Hope you enjoy.

(Sorry for the crappy pictures. Too dark outside by the time I finished the build)

very classy in white. it doesn't look much like a pista (not a good or a bad thing) very unique.

I first tried to imbed the pictures within the body.
Didn't work, obviously.

although I wouldn't trust that front wheel (not to say that YOU shouldn't)....very nice bike...

like he said above, doesn't look like a stock bicycle, but rather something unique and cool looking

Yeah, I was a little skeptical about the 20-spoke.
My friend bought it complete on ebay for $15 but the original Bontrager rim was bent beyond repair, so I just too the hub off his hands and built it up for fun.
The guys at my LBS assured me it would be fine.
So, we'll just have to wait and see.

I'll be the first to ask. What brand/model are the risers?

I have no idea.
Just old old, generic bars.
I got them from the box-o-handlebars at Ben's Warehouse for $10, then chopped them down to about 16 inches.

That's not a stock fork is it? If not, what kind is it?

PS: I have a soft spot for white bikes

YES. Good eye.
I just remembered that I forgot to add that detail.
The fork is a lugged Soma fork.

I feel honored that it was my bike that changed your mind.
