Okay, here is the answer from Brent at Phil Wook regarding this topic:
No one has ever indicated there is a compatibility issue to us when using the "standard" taper. We have tested the 75 cranks here and determined that "standard" taper is the best fit. However I have not actually ever measured or tested the Sugino BB so I can't tell you what it is. I know the crank is JIS based on the set we were sent and it fit just fine.
