Anybody got any really crazy tricks they can do,

one i'm working on is a nose wheelie, spinning the back wheel backwards, setting it down and doing a backwards 360

I'd also like to powerslide 180 and end in a trackstand, a friend of mine can do it on a fixed gear krate bike, but i'm not sure it's possible on a big track bike.

Also can anybody ride straight backwards, like how BMXers ride fakey>

I have gotten the backwards 360 down, working on seeing how many times I can do it without stopping now. Four in a row is my current record, but can't do it that many times consistently. Can't really ride straight backwards very well, but can more or less zig zag for about 30 feet in a backwards direction. No front brake on my bike, so no nose wheelies for me.

ive been tryibgn this thing where you get into a no handed track stand then take one foot off the pedal and push the front wheel so that you begin to spin in a circle. its hard to explain btu basically your back wheel stays still while your front wheel moves in a circle around your back wheel.

There are a few, one that tylersage is talking about where you use one foot to scuff the front wheel to do a backward three sixty. There are the obvious 360s, figure 8, switch, and no handed variations. then skids where you do one foot, out of clips, one where you throw the leg over the front of the bars and skid, and doing all those one handed. i am probably missing a bunch, but those are a few. oh, and prolonged wheelies from standstill.

when there was still a lot of sand on the roads i was doing 180 degree or more skids and riding out of them. tried going 360 and found myself on the ground every time. ah, road sand.

i wish i could ride backwards (going straight back) better, anyone have advice? i go into a backwards 360 every time i try.

I think a 180 skid into a backwards 360 finishing with a one foot trackstand would be swell.

Oh, a friend of mine has it as his goal to get naked while trackstanding, i think he can actually get his pants and shirt off

Ok try this, this is how I learned to do fakies on BMX. Just push backwards off the ground with your feet off the pedals holding out for balance. Eventually you will get the balancing part down and will be able to move onto pedaling backwards. I know it sounds too simple but thats how I learned fakies.

All those tricks in Quicksilver were flatland guys by the way.

Well me being an old washed up ex-messenger who does not get enuf time on my bike I will be honest and tell ya that I have never tried it myself. I have however seen a few different guys pull them off with no probs. At last years N.A. messenger champs Bega from D.C. opted for no footed track wheelies in the skid competition. He didn't get a skid distance but the crowd loved it. Fish from Amsterdam will pull off any trick you care to dream up....that guy is an animal.

well hugo from team puma has been perfecting his backwards line..
and my man tony has gotten down one-footed skids while his leg is threaded through the frame into the other pedal (ie. right leg in left pedal).

We all know the no-handed skid? How about no handed with B.M.X. flats....no clips. Hard down on the dominant side....foot curl underneath on the non-dominant. Gonna put up a m-peg on my site once it is completed.

so all this winter wonderland talk has got me thinking.
last night while pillaging dc we were down by the white house's christmas tree,
the rubber walkway mats creating the path were wet with snow and kind of slippery.
there were tourists all over the place so we were going slow and threading our way through the crowds.

at one point, i did a little skip to bring my right foot forward again so that I could Tstand while some people walked by. I realized that even at these super slow speeds, it was easy enough to "hop" my rear wheel just long enough for me to rotate my cranks around about 45 degrees.

so..
here's the trick I've been thinking about
what if you were strong enough to pull the cranks around 180 while pretty much standing still

snowboarders/skaters can easily switch the board around to ride fakey
this would kind of be similar

oR better yET!
so you see these blinged-out suv's with there spinners.
if you were standing still (and again, if you were strong enough) you could spin your wheel and not go anywhere. add a spoke card or two and now you've got your own bike spoke spinners. ***BLING***

-My friend Dean rides bmx platforms daily and can rock the no handed skid and the one leg over the bar skid in that style, he is savage.

As for the no left leg right leg through the frame, thats awesome. I can do it slow speeds but nothing fast yet.

By straight backwards, do you mean sitting on the handlebars facing the rear wheel, pedalling backwards so the bike goes forward? I can do that just about forever, but I can't face foward and ride backwards. I don't know why one is so easy and the other so difficult.
