I've got the ghey for your ride. What type of stem is that? Gorgeous, nice work. Year of the frame? Thanks.

Nisi Stretto Corsa Tubulars. Double Eyelets, early 80's black finish. And the Wolber TX's are sweet too.

shants 12-11-05 12:19 PM

i actually like the look of machined deep v's better than non-machined, especially when one is going to be using colored tires. the silver band creates nice contrast.

eyefloater 12-11-05 12:37 PM

silver cxp33 rims = teh hawtz0r.

always nice to see another aero... do you have the geometry info on that year? i think i have the same frame.

as for rims, the mirror polish or gold deep v's are pretty fresh

thanks. stem is just a cheap Kalloy off ebay. it's probably the most asked about part on the bike. year of frame is early 90's, i believe..

Yeah I hear that 100%. Well, 50% now cause the back rubino died at the start of the alleycat and is now a black gatorskin.

I really like the Campy Shamal.

This was the first mass produced deep-v rim, me thinks. I might have a lead on some...would be nice.

Love those...

rafi 12-11-05 10:30 PM

the atlantas are also blingy. cant find a good picture this
minute. also are drilled for more holes in the rim, makes
them fine for the streets

p3ntuprage 12-12-05 09:05 AM

i have a set of wolber profil20s

gorgeous anthracite/brown anodising and a really sweet curved semi-aero profile.

[the last time i checked, atlantas were the same as the shamal rims, just drilled 32 instead of 12.]

but yes. shamals.... mmmmm....

Campagnolo Atlanta Pista's. Be-you-tee-full. I live in Atlanta, too. Can I have some, laced to Vittoria Atlanta Pista Tires, please? You don't see these up for grabs, like ever.

Smorgasgeorge 12-12-05 07:59 PM

I have always been a fan of simplistic brilliance, so I opted to get the white, machined Deep V's on my IRO. I think they look pretty bling.
