Red Light Go Reviews

I haven't seen it, but am tempted to buy it. What are your thoughts? Good music, concept, etc. Is it worth buying? Thanks. Cheery bye.

B-O-R-I-N-G.

That's what I think of the movie. Seriously. It's not really that exciting. Quicksilver is better.

I thought red light go was entertaining. I've said before that even my non-biking friends liked it.

I have a divx'd copy of it. I'd give it up for upload, but I only have 30k/s of outgoing bandwidth to spare.

At 650M, that'd be a pain in the butt.

Any chance you could upload it to yousendit.com, or similar? The admiration of your peers is up for grabs!

Cheers,

Bikes: Too Many

Glad they are here. Hopefully they will realize that there is a demand for this on DVD. I would like a copy as well.

Don't get me wrong. I want to pay for a copy of Pedal. Please tell me how to do so.

My copy of Red Light Go was worth the $US20, too.

i bought red light go off of amazon. i found it a really sloppily constructed narrative that lacked any sort of focus on either the messengers, the races or cycling in NYC. it seemed like the filmmakers wanted to make 3 different films and decided to just condense them all into one. essentially, the film just ends up meandering from various alley cat starts and finishes to somewhat random commentary from the featured riders, to the evil E story, etc.

i came away from it feeling like i'd just forked over cash for a series of trailers and am now eagerly anticipating the release of several far more focused and more professionally videographed and edited films from these guys.

as stated previously, there's very little actual race footage and i don't really recall too much footage of the filmmakers actually riding with racers (though there's a lot of footage of them interviewing featured messengers while they ride down quiet streets).

lucas b's race films are far more interesting--because they only try to be one thing--race films. it doesn't hurt that lucas' footage is awesome and that he's capable of following some of the faster riders who open themselves up to risky situations that just look incredible on helmetcam...
