Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I posted this a long time ago in the roadie forum but here it is again.
Making of Bicycle 自転車が出来るまで

From welding frame "pipes" all the the way to paint job and assembly, mostly done by giant robots (like everything in Japan).

I just now noticed that the commuter/cruiser shown in the first minute has track ends. It's probably a single-speed+coaster brake, but still it has fixie potential

Thanks for your insightful contribution. Unfortunately, it seems you just helped maintain the notion that Americans are fat and ****ing idiots too. Also, it appears you failed to note that the video was taken from "Australia's Funniest Home Videos". Thanks and have a nice day.

Bikes: Zeus (Razesa) tarck, Giant TCR road, Eddy Merckx road, Fuji Touring Series IV for everything else

Watching the video of the fixies chasing the skater. It makes me want a full brakeset on my bike. Trials-style 180's are bad ass.
