Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i vaguely remember a video of a guy on a red track bike with a disk wheel doing some tricks (possibly riding on top of some kind of barrier, and bunnyhopping off a curb?) that was around a long time ago. does anyone know what i'm talking about and know where i can see it again?

Was it Lucas Brunelle's video from a CM, where some guy rides along the lane divider on some bridge? Been a while since I've seen it, but it's on his website.

I see what they mean about hills in SF. Damn!

nah, it wasn't that. this was a short clip of some guy on a track bike. i want to say that it was in philly, kind of before the skateboard-inspired videos started getting popular. who knows, though - my memory isn't the best.
