That's probably because they taped the guy doing the trick 100 times and it somehow got screwed up 99 times, so when he gets it right it is worthy of a 'yeah.' Watching these 'porn' videos made live is so excruciating. I used to walk through Union Square often and there were always skaters with video cameras and maybe once a month I would see someone actually land a trick it was that uncommon. But with cheap tape, you can just record and record then edit it down to a nice sequence. This is why long Rodney Mullen sequences are so terrifying - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuMmT3E-KVU
