Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This is one of the most inspirational videos I've ever seen. Came across it back when I rode BMX, same principles can apply to riding FG:

This one makes you want to **** bricks and be a badass on a mountain bike:

Lots of these links are working properly in 3 different browsers on my computer.

Try clicking refresh. Then do it again. If that doesn't work...

Yeah, I have Explorer, Safari, and Firefox (my favorite). I tried Google Chrome but didn't like it.

From: can be found with the traffic in the streets of fresno ca.

Bikes: 07 bianchi pista, 09 mercier kilo tt, 09 masi speciale fixed LTD, late 80s masi nuova strada, full campy gruppo, 89 centurion accordo, 88 peugeot versallies, 93 faggin 14 speed full shimano 105

those bmx bars on shanes vids are hella ugly!!!(imo) how can they ride with the seats pointed up like that? looks like fixed gear culture is branching off in different directions, just like skateboarding, some of my friends are into the tricking style bikes with big clearances, for me i like the traditional hipster style, (trackstand variations, mashing brakeless, etc...
