Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A very happy holiday indeed

HA HA! I'm member now! Tomorrow hopefully the chain will be under the menorah. Just pretend like it's got silver wheels on it (it will in a few weeks anyways).

PM waiting. I dunno I'm kinda worried about getting too comfy on it cause Ceya's got an idea about sending a newer RAP when he gets back from Japan and he wants this one back. I think.

sweeeeeeeet ride. a question, though. is that a 90mm nitto track stem? if so, where'd you pick it up (i've never seen one under 100mm)? i can't quite read the # under the "NITTO" due to this horrible horrible onboard graphics chip.

Thanks but which set? It's gonna have 32h hf miches/silver open pros. I'm also thinking all black paint job with silver or white decals.

Well to counter I'm sober, bored, and argumentative. A trifecta of terror I assure you. But it def needs some new paint. It's down to the quickly rusting chrome in like 12 places. But you're saying keep it silver/black?

I'm totally out of place, but I want you to keep the crazy sticker scheme!

I think the graphics on that bike make it. But, if the bugger's rusted, go for it.

Hell, I'm thinking of painting my XMAS bike(Schwinn TT) black. Maybe you're onto something....
What do you think? Should I go black/yellow or keep it Uncle Sam?

*Puts on recording of "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones and patiently awaits response from cranky Brit.

i dunno. i'm not in favor of the uncle sam color scheme. how patriotic are you? i care about the fate of the united states but don't see wearing red, white, and blue and fighting illegtimate wars in the middle east as part of patriotism.

in short, black/yellow. but i guess you wanted to hear from the "cranky brit", not the drunk, midwestern raised scots-irish dude

HC!!! Dude, your vote counts (think you are a brother from another mother) I didn't want to hijack our mate's thread, so I'm still waiting on my Crank. (that bit didn't come out right, did it?)
I mean to say, I'm still waiting on the old boy to reply, if he hasn't bashed his head in sober frustration!

IOC needs a drink!
