14 or so arrests in NYC...so they got about a 1/4 of us.

The helicopter with the spotlight chasing us around was the highlight.

also, yes, more showed up, there was only about 8 of us at most though, but it was a nice ride, I had fun. Then an hour later, everyone pretty much split up, and me, ian, and another guy went to giannas for food.

I know. We got there a bit after 6. I figured we could catch up with the group when they passed Rittenhouse.

CM's are (or at least feel like) hands down the most dangerous rides I experience in SF. I didn't go to this one... I have to say CM is losing its appeal to me. I will still go probably, when the weather is good and I have nothing better to do.

duuuude. you guys missed an amazing ****ing critical mass in sf. it was realllly rainy and there weren't many people. maybe 100. but then we all went underground in this crazy tunnel that took us beneath moscone center in the loading docks, and then down into this underground room that was massive and everybody started riding around in there. but then the 50 showed up to crack down on the party. it was really worth it. seriously. was anybody else on it?

Last nights NYC Critical mass was like a damn cat and mouse chase from the start. Who all road it?

I was riding my black track frame with sliver lugged track fork, Red hoodie and the blinking reflector on my rt. leg.

yes "the jail race" happened. it was at the station, there were people there the whole time, i talked to someone else who was looking for it and couldn't find it. I was there from about 5 til the race started at about 6:15. it was a great time, and more people should have showed up.

why do they even arrest people? They should know by now that its a monthly event, and there is no point in arresting people.

What is the crime being committed that they are arresting for? I wish I knew more about my rights, especially when participating in critical mass rides.

Simply because people are going to continue to do it does not mean you should stop punishing people for it. I am all for non arresting CM but that is just faulty logic.
