Agreed.
The constant moaning and whining is far more annoying than any hipster bashing/favorite bag thread could ever wsh to be.

The moaning and whining also keep these threads at the top. Wouldn't it be better to just not post in or even read a thread you didn't like?

I've always made that argument when people b*tch about commonplace threads or call for a newbie subforum.
People like to see their thoughts appear on screen too much, I suppose.

Lurking. I broke my thumb and my bike a while back, and in the interim, lost interest in "TRACK BIYX ON TEH STREETZ!!!!"

I still ride, but mainly for training and such. It sucks being nestled between two mountains.

But uh, thanks for noticing I was gone! Where did you run off to?

Man, if I had a time machine and could go back to age 14 (1960) I'd ride a fixie.
How utterly cool.
No one would know except me.

+2, although listening to the Dead Milkmen, the Misfits,(Danzig ONLY,) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (back when they were a GOOD band,) and riding a board with a front and back end was pretty rad, too.

*Hijack*

That was the best video ever...anybody got a copy on DVD? I haven't owned a vcr for 10 years..

*edit* Not Public Domain, but the one where they search for the old Chinese guy on the longboard.

Thank God I still have that ol' Thrasher spirit, now it's fixes over boards. Good thing I didn't ride fixed back then, as my rampbuilding efforts would have concluded with me attempting to jump a car on a fixed gear and breaking a lot of bones and bikes!

Search for Animal Chin? never saw it, I think I've seen some of Public Domain

thrashin' is pretty funny, we thought it was weak even back then (probably around '87)

I saw the video store has a docu about Mark 'Gator' Rygowsky (apparently he murdered someone)

I had xbox for awhile last year (I never played it, gave to brother) and the only thing I even played was Tony Hawk, awesome skate game--better than the commodore64 skate games I used to play

What a lame-o poster. Look! They're racing downhill. Hot. Reckless! Totally lame.

That ugly chick looks like she was high as hell when they shot her pic.

The 80's were not all good, it seems. At least I had sense to stay away from that trash!

This is what I meant by Thrasher. Thrashin' is what you do when you have a seizure.

if u dont like his thread. ignore it..it'll get washed out by other threads like " are you a hipster" & threads like who spends more money on their bike. if you consider that more important than the excitement you once had one you just started to ride a fixed.
its important to keep that in mind.
you go pistaboy!
i'm at a pretty young age my self too..comparing to the rest of the ppl here anyway
