Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? i have never seen it in the midwest.. i'm jealous. someone said they don't ship to the east coast. i guess they are wrong.

anyways, hitachino nest ale totally owns although it is $3.99/12oz in bloomington. they don't have the 26 oz bottles up here.

It's refreshing to see people actually enjoy the finer qualities of a good beer instead of seeking out the cheapest piss imaginable.

We should all rendezvous sometime, somewhere and ride bikes and drink excellent beer. Maybe in the summer when the days are long and the nights are sweet with the smell of life. We could ride 100 miles to nowhere, bring a trailer filled with delectables and then proceed to sit around a fire all night and enjoy each others company and brewed contributions.
Val- in about 4 months, Andrea and I will have our going away party. We want all of our friends to ride with us for the first day of the trip, which will end up at the IN dunes and involve much drinking of fine ales. You, of course, are invited.

Thanks Ira. I will definitely come. It seems like we've been talking about doing this since I first met you ... 2 years ago.

you keystone staters should be familiar with yuengling... probably the best massed produced lager around. a lot of the uk stuff in the states is trash (our guiness is brewed canadia!) and i can barely stomach newcastle. i'm new to the south fla. area, if anyone knows where i can get some killer brew, drop me a line.
