I love the Franziskaner Dunkel-Weisse more than the Hefe-Weisse...
|
Only fair that you stop by Atlanta at some point. I would totally do it for you...

Ommegang is the sh*t. Found out that they had Fuller's london pride on the corner of 2nd and c the other day though. Not really the same style at all but at least I won't miss london that much more when I get back.

whenever you beer snobs come through chicago, make sure to give me a call.

London.... auuugh! I'd kill for some of the landlord in the states.

I can almost top that Sierra Nevada keg with my Unibroue sampler pack which I am indulging in atm.
http://www.unibroue.com/english.cfm If anyone lives near the Met in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn on Fulton that sampler pack was $19.99 as of a week ago which is a steal considering the tasty beers included. |
Dunkel is definitely better than hefe. Imperial Stout (especially Rasputin) crushes all, though.

Is that Teadogg* offering you dinner in your avatar, BTW? Sweet! *or is that your man-maid in NYC? Hmmmm. |

That's not dinner on the platter, that's the head of John the Baptist. It's refreshing to see people actually enjoy the finer qualities of a good beer instead of seeking out the cheapest piss imaginable. We should all rendezvous sometime, somewhere and ride bikes and drink excellent beer. Maybe in the summer when the days are long and the nights are sweet with the smell of life. We could ride 100 miles to nowhere, bring a trailer filled with delectables and then proceed to sit around a fire all night and enjoy each others company and brewed contributions. |
seriously, when will there be kegs or 40's of sparks?
