Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? San Francisco, I am in you! Or nearby. Well, not so far away anyhow.

What up, punks?

I've been settling in the last few days, but I'm now ready to officially announce my presence.

I logged a mighty 14 miles today (grr!!!) and am fit to take on all comers. Bring it, *****es!

You can find me in the buzzing metropolis that is Mountain View. That's south of SF and northwest of San Jose if you're confused. I'll be here for three months, so don't pretend like you didn't get my message.

We should get together sometime and play bikes, I need friends. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and drinking.

I'll be ok with drinking, but no walks on the beach. How about some SS down cliff riding to the beach?

I guess it's a weekly onsite visit or some junk.

When I first arrived and swung by to pick up my bike which I'd shipped ahead, I walked past the hair cut RV in the parking lot. It was sort of like a mobile health care vehicle but more stylish.

What I can tell you is that every bathroom has a changing room and lockers which is pretty sweet.

Nice. Well, if you get settled in a bit and want to pedal around mt view/scummyvale/sc some day just PM me or post on this thread. Tomorrows my first day back at work since Dec 21st so I probably should wait until, say.. Thursday before taking off for an afternoon
