What we need is just to have someone in the SS\FG posting "use the search, I do". And they can type everything in purple, yeah purple. If they were to use blue.... But sometimes the search just doesn't work out. I nominate Pistaboy to be the SS/FG secretary.

All those that post in this thread will be visited tonight by pistaboy's Cheka.

Bikes: several. blue. fun.

i spilled 2lb of bulk rice in my messenger bag last week. now, everything i put into the bag comes out with rice in it. this is after serious cleaning attempts.

spilling rice in a bag is so much worse than spilling beer. at least beer dries out after a while.

Thankfully you weren't at my wedding. One thing to get pelted by little bags of bird seed. It another to be clocked by a messenger bag full of rice.

if it really does become a spokecard, I would LOVE one...Thatd be pretty cool to laminate it, and send it in the mail as a postcard. I'd laugh.

I did a VERY rough draft of it, nowhere near ready to post. I don't recall promising a photo, but I might get one by the end of the week. Gotta go; Its finals week and I need to study like a mofo...

I baked the best bread ever tonight. The key is to put a pan of water in the oven for the last 10 min of baking. Yummy.

Tons of schools have finals after Christmas break ends.
Super lame.
As if you were supposed to retain all the information you learned during the first semester through a 3 week layoff.

What "design" are you talking about? Seems to me there are n+1 years (more than 6,000, or whatever Pat Robertson's current number is, anyway) of evidence to the contrary, which is to say that if people were "naturally" selfish, there would have been absolutely no way the species could've survived thousands of years of scarcity, managed to propagate, developed advanced societies, and then build a class system in which the greediest rise to the top, then rewrite natural history to claim that, in fact, this is how it was all along, that capitalism in fact is the highest expression of some innate human trait, when in fact it's just as transitory a period as all those before it.

To keep this in the appropriate forum, anyway, I think a sticky would be fine, almost like a "ss/fg approved thread" as opposed to some unreliable garbage from quasi-people with dished rear wheels and more than two cables on their horses.

There was a great program on the History channel about the $128,000,000.00 failed landing of a NASA probe seeking water on Mars. It made me think of this thread for some reason...

Yeah, was that not because some idiot forgot how to convert units from English to Metric? Better study hard on those finals that you think you will never need again ! And Please do not refer to your finals as being a mofo if you don't want us to reply in kind and get your butt grounded again.
