Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

unfortunately, they don't. the closet place Amtrak goes is Klamath Falls, then it's around a hour drive here.

I just bought one of those last month...and I'm 42 years old. Second childhood I guess.

"is pistaboy real" alleycat? ashland isn't very big, we'd have to do laps around the entire town. have a few checkpoints where he "supposedly" hangs out.

Hey, I actually have some friends in Ashland! It's conceivable that Boston might represent at an Ashland alleycat!

of course it will make 7, now that the A word (alleycat) has been dropped, it's going to explode.

i checked out google maps. are all those squiggly roads around ashland hilly? it could be like a tour de France stage or something. half country, half city.
