the trick is to cup the thumbstick with your palm and let your index finger go OVER the left trigger. not the best, but it's functional.

thanks again, folks.

Get well Msngr. Which hand did you have surgery on? And is that your writing/eating/everything hand?
After my surgery the number 2 question asked after "Dude do you drink enough milk?" was "Can you jerk off?" Best answer to said question ever can be found in Murderball which you should definitely watch while recovering since it makes your injury look like a papercut compared to those quad-rugby players.

And do your Physical Therapy: 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 and Streeeechhh 2 3 4, 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 and Streeeechhh, 1 and 2 and 1 an...

yeah, mine was nowhere near as sexy as your's, stickerguy.

i broke the socket where the thumb attaches to the wrist (left hand, thank goodness) so that the tendon pulled the thumb out, and there's nothing for it to go back into.

takes a damn long time to type.

been recouping in an italian part of town, so plenty of good cheese and other food.

i'll give the tossing a try soon. i'll keep you updated. now, who can i fantasize about . . .?

[165], sorry, knee deep in mamet right now. but i plan on hitting the library in the morning.

Between this thread and the Portfolio thread, there's so much material to go through, no one should be bored. Here's another contribution: dopewars. For way too long, I wasted my time playing this. If you need any tips, let me know.

Oh, and how does everyone feel about a "get well Msngr" party? Maybe Friday? At my place? I can give away rithem's beer. It was for msngr in the first place.

as for everyone else: holy crap - i had no idea all that shizz existed. my internet is so boring in comparison.

and jayfitz - good taste. i'll lend you my copy of kinski's autobiogrpahy, if you like. it's hilarious.

there's a guide out there somewhere. This isn't the one I originally found , but it might help. The key is to use up your aerial crashes kind of early, and get the Specials. When you get a "special", you just have to click the mouse immediately, then all the characters turn into ninjas or something, and blast you into hyperspace. Sort of.
