Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

"love your friends... die laughing" (a shortened version being 'die laughing,' my custom title) is also a pg99 quote, from the etching on the document #8 vinyl.

anyway, for the curious, pg99 was a punk/hardcore/crust/screamo(i hate this word but don't know what else to call it) band from sterling, virginia. it was 8 dudes playing together with some of the most intense energy i've ever seen or heard. they ceased to exist in april of 2002. bands that shared members/have spawned from the ashes of pg99 are: city of caterpillar, majority rule, crestfallen, darkest hour, mannequin, malady, etc.
i went up to baltimore and dc to see their last 2 shows. that tour with majority rule was one of the best tours ever. i think we went around with those guys for like 4 nights in a row just to see those two sets.

Now, tell me the truth do people actually use their MySpace pages for anything? I log on to periodically delete messages from dirty old/young men, and to leer at men I will never contact, but that's about it.

I don't usually get bulletins I didn't already know about. Or it's the same old people doing the internet versions of chain letters.
