Cleaning a Messenger Bag

Ok, first of all, I searched the threads under "cleaning cordura" and nothing came up. So Im asking it now...

How and what do you clean your bags with. Mine looks like its been sitting in poo for awhile. Any tips/advice/methods?

Mine can definitly use a good clean.

Thanks

Bikes: Chromoly Allez comp with Ultegra/DA, IRO Rob Roy

I just throw it in the washer, wrap the buckle in a sock to keep the noise down

I take mine into the shower when I drop it onto something disgusting or something sticky or sugary breaks inside it. It's actaulluy pretty skank nasty right now.

Bad karma to wash your bag.

Just let the rain clean it off.

that's my method...when it's really bad (grease stains) I use some soiLove and an old toothbrush beforehand.
