SS/FG Pre-Suck Reunion
Alright, lets hear a roll call from all the fabulous posters from the good old days of... 5 months ago.
Where did you go Ceya? [165]? dolface? Mayonaise? Willaim Karsten? Fugazi Dave? 46x17? Tin Sloth? Fixer? progre-ss? absntr? ostro? All boards have these kind of shifts, but seriously; we need you guys' leadership in these dark days. Oh I miss the days when we even used the word "posenger." I'd rather have MERTON back around than all this silly shants/pistaboy/hipster drama. Admin, I'm taking back my vote: please give this whole forum the boot. |
you need to be shot in the ear with a BB gun.
|
i sent you a spoke card.... be happy

I take that back, I like you. You dont like deep V's. |
shot. in the ear.
ouch. |
word word.....I know what you mean. This whole hipster thing is part of the new crowd, the old insult was posenger.
William is on the boat right now and spent the last month or two gearing up for the tour which means he won't be posting much at all, if at all for the next 6 months 165-busy with school stuff I believe ceya- probably doing some field time INKD- switched over to the roadie/bmx/mtn bike forums and is currently internet-less due to the move Mayo- got sick of this place, the thread, the people, the banning, he still floats around though I think in another thread we old guard try to keep a heads up on each other sometimes sigh, I miss the good old days |
someday these will be called the good ol' days... its all relative. what you guys find miserable i find delightful.. thats why im here like 8 hours a day while at class and work. haha.
|
If FG/SS was the Justice League, [165] would be Superman, and Fugazi Dave would be Batman. You are headed for destruction. Make your time.
|
Please tell me who the villans are, because those superheroes aren't doing much protecting these days... who would want to?

I have been raping under age girls and doing crystal meth with shants.
|
People need to ride more and ***** less.

alright. here we go....
i don't ride fixed gear anymore. well, sometimes, like when i have to go buy cat food, or go to work, i'll ride my fixie. but most of the time, i'm riding my trek 600 'cross/touring bike. why? because it's practical and comfortable, and because i like to be able to coast and shift and such. i like bikes, period. i pretty much have one of each kind of bike you could name. when i was into fixed gear, it was because i liked riding bikes, and that happened to be the only bike i had at the time that wasn't a 20", with chrome rims that stopped like crap in the rain. i don't really give a crap what kind of bike anybody rides, as long as they're riding. i liked fixies/single speeds because the culture was a bit more, "punk rock/diy," i'm sure there are still some kids around converting their own bikes and learning about it via other resources than the internerd, hitting up the bike kitchen, or bnb, or their local co-op, and more power to them, and doing it because it's cheap, and it's honest and it's something they want to do for themselves. but honestly, i'm so ****ing tired of the track bike as status symbol. it's a damn bike for christsakes. and a pretty impractical one for getting around town at that. ride your bike. love your bike. ride whatever you want, just don't think you're the bees knees for riding fixed. it's been done to death, and it's not cool to exclude people. |
