whew.
as i was drifting off to sleep last night, thinking of riding bikes, buying bikes, building bikes, whats going to be on fgg tomorrow... i had this sudden vision.
BLAM! two bright headlights, and my body convulsed like i had reached the last leg of a swan dive into an empty pool.
needless to say, i chalked it up to be the image of my last second, the front of a mac truck pouring down on me from the double solid line of some over-congested boulevard i had the impulse to run a red on.
i rode at an average pace of 2-4 mph today, waiting for lights and checking intersections more thoroughly than a stoned 85 year old driving a lincoln towncar.
i was FREAKED OUT, man.
when rolodexing through my day with a friend, i mentioned how what i experienced right before sleep the night prior may ruin for me ever being able to efficiently ride a bicycle, he pointed me to this.
