Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Clincher.

And there's no such thing as a stupid question. But there are plenty of inquisitive idiots.

*Not my own quote. Someone here has it as their signature. I love it.

[TANGENT]Is there such a thing as a tubular Deep V? Not necessarily by Velocity, but just the shape. That'd be pretty cool...[/TANGENT]

From: where i lay my head is home.

Bikes: bianchi pista workhorse, cannondale r1000, mountain bike fixed conversion

i was gonna say no sewups, but looks like i was wrong.

and i think there is such a thing as a dumb question..."are we all hipsters in denial?" or "is the soma pake a racist bike?"...etc. ("are we all hippos in denali" is the opposite, a clever parody and a rather entertaining thread).
